Q&A

What was your path to becoming a mental health provider?

From a young age, I have been deeply fascinated by others and their unique experiences. I fondly recall spending time with my grandparents, listening to the rich stories of their lives. As I grew older, this curiosity evolved into a deeper exploration of how our experiences shape who we become. How do both small and significant moments leave a lasting impact on our psyche, influencing our thoughts and emotions later in life? My goal in working with clients is to uncover the moments that have shaped their minds and empower them to lead fulfilling and content lives.

What should someone know about working with you?

I am passionate about working with individuals and families who are committed to self-exploration. I approach emotional challenges through an attachment-based lens, understanding that early childhood experiences shape the development of schemas that influence how we perceive and respond to the world around us.

How do you continue learning and building new skills?

As mandated by my license in NY and CT, I am compliant in meeting my continuing education credits. I enjoy learning about new approaches to treating mental health challenges, as well as diving deeper into methods that currently exist.
